  1. The 'Come Dig' sign reminds me of some of the lyrics from 'Heigh-Ho' that goes 'We dig (x7) in our mine the whole day through. To dig (x7) is what we like to do.'

Which leads me to believe it's rather interesting that Mary Margaret is the one hanging up the flyers - seeing as they're probably digging for diamonds.

Although - I'm sure everyone else knew this too so I'm just stating the obvious. Either way - fun little bit to add-in.

  2. Oh see, I figured it was an archaeological dig. The Mirror mentioned the remains of a 17th(18th?) century settlement before. Usually a find like that is followed by a dig. I didn't even think about the dwarves.

  3. Haha! The fact that Midsummer Night's dream is mentioned is hilarious to me just because I was trying to explain this show to a guy friend of mine from lit class the other day. I mentioned that we don't really know who the boy's father is yet and he's all messing around and stuff saying "Bet it's Prince Charming." Which of course I informed him was ridiculous since that was Emma's dad. He pushed that a little longer and then he's like hey it's probably that fairy king actually. From Midsummer Night's Dream xD. Nice.

  4. The "come dig" could be related to the fact that in story brooke all of the crops were destroyed in a weird flood. They might be digging trenches or something to try to release the water, or maybe they are putting in a dam or something.
