  1. One negative consequence of King George's second deal is that Rumpelstiltskin was able to ambush and kill the Fairy Godmother.

  2. thanks for this! My daughter says the entire Cinderella ball was a set-up: invite the stepmother & stepdaughters, omit Cinderella and wait. Or specifically tell the stepmother Cinderella can't come.
Oh, and you don't have Archie's deal yet, with the potion to puppetize his parents

  3. How could I forget Jiminy's deal? Tsk, tsk.

@Janet - Your daughter's theory sounds very likely.

Thank you both, updated and credit given.

  4. Jiminy had another deal in episode 5. He traded stolen items and the names of the people they belonged to for gold thread. We still don't know what Rumpelstiltskin wanted them for or what the consequences were.

  7. "Henry hates Regina. This is also a consequence of the curse.
    Twice burned, ouch."

    I don't understand this

  8. @Isabelle - Regina gets burned twice on her deal to adopt Henry.

First, Henry rebels against her and doesn't consider her his mom despite being raised by her for ten years.

Second,[this is speculation] the consequences of enacting the dark curse are also involved here. The void which cannot be filled has something to do with love.

  9. Hey, why do you guys think Rumpy wanted the puppets of Geppetto's parents? I don't have any theories, does anyone else? Are they just some kind of trophy to him, or do you think they'll come back into play later? It would be interesting to see them have some deeper significance in the plotline. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

  10. @Jaye - There's a market for nearly everything. Rumpelstiltskin seems like the kinda guy who knows that. Someone, somewhere would want those puppets.

    1. well, he kept them, so there must be other reasons. I used to have a theory- but I just forgot it *slams head on keyboard* fjfidy6hyuy bgvv g (yes, I actually slammed my head on the keyboard.)

    2. Oh! I remembered part of my theory- Jimminy's parents collected puppets, so it's almost irony that they would be turned into some. Still can't remember why he would want them though...

  11. It seemed like Rumpel was collected objects from a bunch of different people and the name of the person the object came from. It may be important to something he does in the fairytale world or it could have to do with helping his memory in the real world.

  12. In the last episode Mr. gold told emma something about her being the sherriff and he would eventually need her to help him and she would have the "means" since she was sherriff. (I don't have an exact quote but I do remember he said something about it at the end of the episode.) I don't know if it has anything to do with the consequences but it seemed "off" that he said that.

  13. Hmm....Rumpy is kind of like a jack-of-all-trades?
(Robert Cartyle said "Anyone calling him Rumpie shall be turned into a snail"

    1. One person did call him Rumpie and Robert tweeted him back saying "You have been turned into a puppet." That was way before "The Return" though, so it makes sense.

  14. Everyone calls him " Rumple" or "Rumpy" like The evil queen in the episode Skin Deep! * shivers* Guys, do you know how creepy that is? And Rumplestiltskins my absolute favourite character (!), though there's supposed to be a new episode comming about the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. You can check out descriptions on Wikipedia for upcomming episodes. :)

  15. I find I too am fascinated with Rumpelstiltskin. In other fairy tales he was just the bad guy. In this one he has depth. I'm not so taken with the queen as her reasons seem to be missing. So far. Thank you for putting all the deals here though! It really helps to keep track of the varying story lines!

  16. You forgot another deal with Regina: the chipped cup in exchange for revealing his true name.

  17. Another deal: In "True North" Emma comes to Rumpelstiltskin and finds out he knows the name of the kids' dad. His price for giving it to her is "forgiveness" (for the events in "Desperate Souls"). She replies with "How about tolerance?" and he says "It's a start."

  18. I noticed you don't have Charmings new deal w. Rumple and Belle's other deal w. him as well. (I know you have alot of pages to update, just reminding you though) I just wanted to add that his second deal w. Belle was different than anything he'd ever done: instead of "i'll do this and you'll owe me "something"" it was "you do something for me and I'll do something for you, even though I know you won't do it."

I do like the "Victim" part though. ;)

  19. Also, for SW's deal (about killing Regina) the consequences were why he said he was "invested in [her] fututre." TRUE LOVE= EMMA= THE CURSE= BAELFIRE! He knew she wouldn't have killed Regina, because he can see the future, therefore he knew Charming would come and that's why he gave Snow a particular place: so he could lead Charming to it. Also, that's the reason he gave Snow the potion, to make her trust him so she would come back again (which we can see, she did) so rumple got what he wanted.

  20. Rumple AND Cora are SO MANIPULATIVE! Rumple use Regina to enact the curse so HE could get his son back!

    ReplyDelete
  21. There was also the other deal he made with Belle in Skin Deep.

She would go into town and get more straw for him and when she returns he would tell her about his son. However, he does tell her he expects to never see her again but she does come back and all he says about Bae is that he's gone and there is nothing else to tell. He doesn't even give a name. So not really his usual deal.

I really hope Rumple tells Belle about Baelfire in season 2, it would help her better understand his quest for more power even if she won't approve of his methods.

  22. I did find out king George gave up his family's fairy god-mother to rumple in return the twin brother of his son would be revealed. The deal with Ella, was not why he was there, he was just spontaneous enough to make deals
